The Last Man on the Moon poster

The Last Man on the Moon was a passion project that took five years to bring to the big screen in partnership with Mark Stewart Productions. Working with an historic character like Apollo astronaut Gene Cernan was a rare privilege, and the final film gained plenty of attention. Following a premiere at Sheffield Docfest, it enjoyed a long festival run, had theatrical distribution in the US and UK, and was acquired by Netflix.

Talk to Me was my breakthrough film back in 2007, and was the very first project funded by Doc Society (formerly Britdoc). Comprised entirely of real answer machine messages captured over a 20-year period and illustrated with photos & ephemera woven into a large artwork. It was filmed by legendary rostrum cameraman Ken Morse and was a hit on the international festival circuit before winning a Grierson Award.
